Share your culture and tradition’s. Senior pictures are a wonderful way to do that. It may not be what you wear to school on a daily basis, or maybe it is, whatever the case……it is a wonderful way to add heartfelt elements to your senior pictures. You can add an item of clothing, a piece of jewelry, or even a flag; it can be subtle or all out “check this out”. We encourage you to make your mark and celebrate what makes you….YOU!

What happens during a senior session? Curious minds want to know. We will meet at a predetermined location of your choice; we can help if you need suggestions. We always stress that you wear comfortable shoes as we will do a lot of walking. A lot of walking may be an understatement. Did we tell you to wear comfy shoes?
You will bring a second outfit as we start out on foot to begin your session. Many times we shoot as we go….finding spots and backdrops as we move around. Keeping your outfits on hangers will help minimize the wrinkles. With regard to where you will change, we have spots downtown that are available to switch your clothing.
Remember to bring makeup, brushes, hair care products for touch ups as the session goes along. A towel for blotting sweat is helpful as well. A good tip one of our seniors shared was putting jewelry and accessories in little baggies and attaching them to the corresponding outfit.
The session usually lasts about an hour and a half. We move quickly to make the most of your session time. Feel free to call, email or text with questions. We look forward to making your session a memorable experience.

Senior pictures = your story. They are more than a requirement for the school yearbook. They are much more than you standing in front of a wall, in the middle of summer, with a wool sweater on pretending you’re not hot. This is a time for you to really express yourself; a chance to be creative and be YOU!
We say this every season, which means we must mean it, but we are up for anything. Pick a location that has a special meaning to you. We will travel….Amy finally got her passport! Don’t worry, if you can’t decide, we can help you. There are a lot of very cool places in and around Rochester however; coolness can be found by hopping in the car and exploring. Here’s a thought, make a day of it. Pick a city or two and really check them out….park the car, walk around…..you might be surprised at what you will find. Don’t just stay on the main street, check out that back alley or that side street. It is amazing what you will find. The next time you are driving to grandma and grandpa’s house or to that small town festival, look around, you may find the perfect photo spot.

Yes, it’s Senior Picture Time which means it’s time to schedule. We say it every year and for risk of sounding like a broken record, Don’t Put It Off. We have been doing this long enough to know, as the summer comes and goes and fall approaches, life gets hectic. Speaking of fall, what are these “fall colors” that people speak of? If it happens, and that’s a big if, your window of time is very short.
We like to encourage our seniors to book early. The perks of scheduling early include Senior Specials…..that means you save money. Seriously, who doesn’t like to save money. You get it over with; done, finished and crossed off the list. You don’t have to feel rushed; squeezing it in between school, sports, band, work etc… The weather is warmer!!! There are no red noses, goosebumps, or gray drab backgrounds. And again, fall colors, they are so brief and daylight is shorter. Long story short…it’s time to schedule. Perfectly prepared and ready for her photo session, Isabella nailed it! She followed the “Tips Sheet” to a tee. Her nails were perfectly polished and the lip color she chose definitely added a pop of color. She brought a brush and hair care products for touch ups which really helped when the wind got crazy. And did we mention her clothes were on hangers!
The prop she brought was something that meant a lot to her. We love how elegant she looks while playing her violin. This season we had some great props and items of sentimental value. We had pets, jewelry, a dress, even an accordion. One of our biggest pieces of advice, follow the tips sheet to make the most of your senior session.
