The “Eyes” have it to say the least! Kennedy has those eyes that speak to the camera….absolutely beautiful. From serious to fun and sassy, she made our job easy. It’s amazing how a serious face can create such a dramatic “look”. We find the same thing with black and white images. So many times people will say ” I can’t do serious” and then they see the final product….always a fun reveal.

Sharp Dress Man = Cade. This guy came ready! We loved his outfit choices and don’t get us started on his shoes.

As we always say…..wear clothes you are comfortable in and that reflect your style. We find you are always more at ease when you feel good in your outfits. Another tip..don’t wear your favorite outfit first. Everyone is always a little nervous; let’s get in the groove before you break out that killer outfit.

And don’t forget props……they too should tell your story. Feel free to bring anything that you’d like; we love getting creative.

You be You. That’s our response when we get asked “what should I do to prepare for my senior pictures?” Our suggestion…be the person you are today so later in life you can look back and say..Yep, that’s me.

Maybe you include things that you are interested in or have been active in during this time of your life….clubs, sports, music, volunteering or even bringing your favorite food…. maybe even some to share..hint, hint!

Maybe it’s a look that show’s the many sides of who you are. We all have many sides to our personality…..like Shrek said..”Just like an onion”.

The biggest piece of advice is to just be yourself! Enjoy the experience and make a memory.

Meadow’s, Field’s and Flower’s tend to be a common request for senior picture locations however; the availability of fields of flowers and meadows in Rochester is pretty limited.

So, what do we do? We pose our seniors in front of flowers outside of business’s giving the illusion of a field of flowers or we go into a greenhouse. Thank you again Sargent’s on 2nd. We got so many wonderful images in and around the greenhouse.

Ivy and greens on buildings are also great options for that “nature” look. Sydney looks absolutely gorgeous against the green vines.

Another option, a golf course. Thank you again to Hadley Creek for letting us use this beautiful backdrop and for the use of the golf carts…..needless to say we had fun. We may not have availability to Meadow’s, Fields or Flowers, but with a little creativity, we can create the look.

Calling all seniors, it’s time!!! Time to think about Senior Pictures. It’s also broken record time. Every year we warn that time flies and sooner than we want, summer will be over. BOO!!!! With that, comes sports practices, work, parents schedules and life in general.
