An Engagement Shoot is always so much fun. We love the chance to get to know our bride’s and groom’s before their wedding; it is why we offer the shoot as a gift to couple’s that book us for their big day. The session gives us a chance to learn more about the couple so we can make their wedding photo’s even more personal. It also gives the couple an opportunity to meet us and all our craziness. It’s time with just the four of us without distractions. We loved our time with Desi and Tom. Talk about romance, Tom mowed the flowers into the shape of a heart as a surprise….can you say “awwwww”? We are looking forward to their big day and spending time with this amazing couple.

Our Fall Mini Is Here/ Rochester, MN

Our 2017 Fall Mini has been scheduled for September 23rd. The price for the half hour Session is $200. It includes eight fully edited images which you will have the rights to. This means you can make holiday cards, wall portraits or even put them on a coffee mug. We will select the location and all you do is show up.

Prior to showing up you may want to coordinate outfits. One suggestion would be pick one or two colors and have each person wear a version of it. For example, a scarf or a tie in the “family color” will bring it all together. You may also want to pack a brush and makeup for touch ups if needed. If it happens to be chilly, crossing our fingers the weather cooperates, bring jackets to wear until we are ready to snap some pictures. Call or email today to secure your spot.

Rain Delay +Lucas / Rochester, MN

Rain delays don’t happen often with our senior photography, but this year we have had our fair share. We crossed our fingers and held our breaths hoping we would get Lucas’s session done in one night; unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. The first half of his session was done at Quarry Hill. We got some nice nature shots before the rain started. The following evening, we met downtown Rochester to finish his shoot. We loved our time with Lucas and his mom, so Mother Nature kind of did us a favor. We get asked often, “what happens if it rains?”. If it rains and doesn’t let up, we will reschedule. Needless to say, we hope the rain stays away.

Timeless Beauty/Rochester, MN

Timeless beauty is the best way to describe Kate. Her eyes absolutely speak to you; we love how they almost changed color with each outfit she wore. Kate also remembered her lip gloss which definitely highlighted her natural lip color and P.S., we are jealous. Speaking of lips, this is a good time to remind the girls to bring lip color and makeup for touch ups. Even if you don’t wear makeup on a regular basis, a little makeup will make your face pop in portraits. Another thing we learned from Kate, you don’t need to go out and purchase a complete new wardrobe. Dig through your closet, your friends closet or even your moms…..you never know what you will find.

Senior Pictures + Kate / Rochester, MN

Senior pictures. We swear. Kate really is a high school senior and not a professional model. She rocked her photo shoot like it was her job, and again, not a professional model. We started downtown in “our secret garden”, and no, we aren’t going to tell where it is. After the garden, we made our way downtown, making stops by Glam Beauty Lounge, outside the Tap House, and random spots along the way. We had so much fun with Kate and her mom, and we can’t forget her brothers. It was a beautiful evening with a beautiful senior.
