Kendra’s Secret Gardens/RochesterMN

Kendra’s Secret Gardens

Kendra’s secret garden proved to be a fantastic discovery. She found this area while running on the trails in Rochester.  Kendra wanted more of a nature setting versus the downtown vibe and her secret garden definitely fits the bill. We had so much fun especially when Kendra pulled out her accordion. What a pleasant surprise when her mom said she knew how to polka….. image, two ladies polkaing while the beautiful Kendra is sharing her talent..so fun!   The rain added to the fun of the shoot as it started to downpour just as we were finishing.

We love when our seniors find new and different locations for their senior pictures. I know we sound like a broken record, but we are willing to travel or go any where your heart desires. Our ultimate goal is to make it an experience you will never forget and give you killer images. Kendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret GardenKendra's Secret Garden

Road Trip Radiance

Road trip radiance is an understatement; Linda is absolutely stunning. We took a Sunday drive to La Crosse Wisconsin to do Linda’s senior pictures. We spent time at  Riverside Park and got some amazing shots by the river, talk about  natures perfect backdrop. I spent a lot of time at Riverside Park when I lived in LaCrosse, it is more awe inspiring than ever. There’s just something about the Mississippi River that brings out the wanderer in us.

The Charmont Hotel also proved to be a wonderful find. The flowers were so pretty and gave  a very feminine touch to her images, not that she needed any help with that. Next we made our way to  The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor. The ice cream definitely  brought out the playful side of Linda. The cone was expertly made by one of the friendly workers at the shop; it tasted just as delicious as it looked.  Next time your are in La Crosse, be sure to check it out. All we can say is “YUM”.

Amy and I like to explore new places and find new spots to take pictures.Call today to schedule a road trip with us. We would love to explore with you….we even have our passports.

Smile or no smile, either way is beautiful

Smile or no smile, either way is beautiful. It doesn’t seem to matter, Kaya is absolutely gorgeous.  It always amazes us how a none smiling picture can change the tone of the image. The picture instantly becomes somewhat dramatic..the good kind of dramatic of course.   When posing, we will always do some none smiling, a soft smile and your big smile.  It gives you variety in your images. Naturally it all comes down to what you want in your images, but you may surprise yourself, you may be an expert non-smiler and not even know it.

Props add personality to your pictures

Props add personality to your pictures. We encourage our seniors to bring props to their photo session; things that means something to YOU.

We have had a variety props, including pets. Our seniors have brought dogs, birds, cats, even a champion pig. Megan brought her puppy who was almost as adorable as she was, and so well behaved.  Another good option is a favorite food; we can use it to give the world a taste of who you are…. did you catch that….food…a taste?  Musical instruments or sporting items also show the different sides of you.  Other options would be your favorite book, a piece of jewelry, sports medals or scripts from plays your were in. The thing to remember is that your props means something to you, so when you look back at your senior pictures, it will bring a smile to your face as your are reminded of some of your favorite things. props add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your picturesprops add personality to your pictures
